Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 6, 2026
01 / Our commitment
MagRose Media is committed to making MagRose Learn accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we design with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act in mind. We treat accessibility as a civil-rights baseline, informed by cases such as National Federation of the Blind v. Target (N.D. Cal. 2006), Robles v. Domino's Pizza (9th Cir. 2019), and Gil v. Winn-Dixie Stores, that establish that public-facing digital experiences must be usable by people with disabilities.
02 / What we do
- Semantic HTML, single
<main>landmark per page, and a logical heading order. - Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast that meets WCAG AA in light and dark themes.
- Alt text for meaningful images and accessible labels for icon-only controls.
- Captions or transcripts for instructional video content.
- Tap targets sized for mobile users.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
03 / Known limitations
Some lesson videos are hosted by third parties (e.g., Vimeo, YouTube). Captions on those videos depend on the source uploader; we work with mentors to ensure every lesson video has accurate captions and, where useful, a transcript. If you find a video without captions, please tell us and we will prioritize it.
04 / Requesting help or an accommodation
If any part of MagRose Learn is not accessible to you, or if you need content in an alternative format, please contact us and we will work with you promptly:
- Email: office@magrosemedia.com
- Subject line: “Accessibility request”
- We aim to respond within 2 business days.
05 / Feedback & enforcement
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of MagRose Learn. If we cannot resolve your concern, you may also contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division or your state's civil-rights agency.
